Does anyone have the 7th series of Fags, Mags, and Bags? I missed it when it aired and haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Play for Today - Plater's 'Land of Green Ginger'
Posted by: CJB666 - 11-29-2017, 08:28 PM - Forum: Requests - No Replies

This featured The Watersons folk group. Thank you.

Alan Plater's characteristically affectionate, witty, poetic and musical evocation of Hull, 'Land of Green Ginger', was shown nationally in the Play for Today strand, marking a highlight of the regional drama culture overseen from BBC Birmingham by producer David Rose.

Miles Jupp's Radio 4 version of In And Out Of The Kitchen. I have Series 1 to 3, but not Series 4. Can anyone supply and I'll upload all 4 series.

Is it better to post individual seasons, or large packs?
Posted by: GeorgeGibson - 11-03-2017, 04:59 PM - Forum: Questions & Answers - Replies (4)

Hello RadioArchive!

Great to see you all back, and I hope the archive can be restored to it's former glory. With that said, I have a question about uploading.

I've got a collection of a certain show spanning about 60 series. Should I post each series individually, or post them all as a pack (or both).

  British Drama 1600-1642
Posted by: Bill - 11-02-2017, 12:06 PM - Forum: Requests - Replies (4)

There was a series created for the BBC 3rd in the late 1950s called "British Drama 1600-1642" with a rather exciting selection of lesser known Elizabethan and Jacobean plays. These include:
- THE SHOEMAKERS' HOLIDAY by Thomas Dekker with Donald Wolfit
- A NEW WAY TO PAY OLD by Philip Massinger also with Donald Wolfit
- THE WHITE DEVIL by John Webster with Stephen Murray, Catherine Lacey Margaret Whiting and Anthony Jacobs
- VALENTINIAN by John Fletcher with Howard Marion-Crawford, Francis de Wolff and Anthony Jacobs
- THE CHANGELING by Thomas Middleton with June Tobin and Michael Gough
There is a recording of the The Shoemakers' Holiday available on Demonoid, and it's very impressive. I'm curious to know if anyone has any of the others. Any information would be appreciated.
